THIS SEC-INDEPENDENT PATHWAY IS TERMED TAT FOR TWIN-ARGININE TRANSLOCATION SYSTEM. THIS SYSTEM MAINLY TRANSPORTS PROTEINS WITH BOUND COFACTORS THAT REQUIRE FOLDING PRIOR TO EXPORT.

Probable tatC, transmembrane protein, component of twin-arginine translocation protein export system (see citation below), equivalent to U00017|U00017_1 from Mycobacterium leprae (317 aa), FASTA scores: opt: 1722, E(): 0, (84.5% identity in 310 aa overlap).
